The cost is $65.00. This fee can be paid in advance at the Dandridge Police Department. Acceptable payment methods include cash, money orders, and credit cards. Checks are not accepted. Credit card payments can also be made via telephone by calling 865-397-8862 x 323.
The fee may also be paid on the day of class. If paying on the day of class, cash is the only accepted form of payment!
In addition to payment of class fee, all hand gun carry participants must pre-register prior to class date. Pre-registration can be completed at the following website: dl.safety.tn.gov . After registration is complete, you will receive an application number. *PLEASE BRING THIS NUMBER TO CLASS WITH YOU*
Information regarding the day of the class
Class begins at 8:00am and typically ends around 6:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Participants are responsible for providing their own handgun and ammunition. 100 rounds of ammunition are needed.
*No guns or ammunition are allowed in the classroom. Please leave the items inside your vehicle. Your vehicle should be locked and all firearms out of sight. *
Eye and Ear protection will be provided for you.
The range is outdoors, please dress accordingly. For safety, do not wear open toe shoes or v-neck shirts.
